Practice Nurse – Join Our Friendly Team

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our supportive team at Milford Family Medical Centre, a busy and well-established general practice located in Milford, North Shore  -Auckland.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, ideally suited to a nurse who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a general practice setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing immunisations and wound care

• Managing long-term conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease)

• Assisting with minor surgical procedures

• Health assessments and health promotion

• Supporting patients with health education and care planning

 

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current APC

• Has prior experience in primary care (preferred but not essential)

• Is confident with Medtech Evolution (training can be provided)

• Is organised, proactive, and a team player

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
