Dr Meg Thomson

Meg trained as a GP in the UK and has been working on the North Shore since 2007. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, from newborn babies to end of life care, with everything in between. She is particularly interested in Women’s Health and in diversity. She lives with her husband, teenage daughter and two cats.

Dr Tim Rigg

Tim is a UK trained GP with a passion for holistic healthcare. He is especially interested in preventative, non-pharmaceutical and community based patient-centred care. He believes wellbeing is best supported through improved connection to self, community and to the natural world rather than a reliance on medication and technology. He is returning to Aotearoa after 3 years working in a pioneering practice in England where he was involved in developing innovative models of care that he hopes to bring back to support his patients at Milford Family Medical Centre. Tim will begin working at the practice starting in November.

Dr Anna Chen

Anna moved from China to New Zealand at a young age and grew up on Auckland’s North Shore. She completed her medical degree at the University of Auckland and trained locally as a General Practitioner. After several years living and working in Wellington, she has recently returned to Milford with her husband, two children and dog. Anna enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in child health and women’s health. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and values building long-term relationships with her patients. Anna is fluent in both English and Mandarin (and understands Cantonese, but less fluent speaking)  and is happy to consult in either language.
